Towers

Towers are the fixtures that connect almost every bracket to the Robot Trolley, providing the structural support needed to securely attach the robot to a trailer, caravan or other mobile equipment.

Standard tower

Every Robot Trolley model comes with a standard-height tower, designed to work with most typical trailers and campers where the height matches the Robot Trolley's bracket attachment points.

Medium and high towers

If your trailer, caravan or mobile equipment is taller than standard, increase the tower height with a medium or high tower. Especially useful with an adjustable nosewheel or jack: lift the front, lower it onto the Robot Trolley, and increase the vertical load for better traction and control.

Advantages of medium/high towers

Extra flexibility, an optimized vertical load for better traction on uneven or soft terrain, and safe alignment of the bracket together with an adjustable nosewheel or jack.

Brackets

Adjustable brackets are recommended for operations on uneven surfaces: they adapt to the surface’s irregularities, increase the vertical load for better traction, and allow fine-tuning of the Robot Trolley’s orientation, reducing the risk of tipping while pushing or moving.

Recommendation: any robot expected to work on variable or soft terrain should be mounted with adjustable brackets if the standard bracket is not an option, and should have its vertical load verified before use.

6 factors to consider before choosing

The weight of the object the Robot Trolley will maneuver

2

Vertical load / tongue weight

3

Surface type

4

Incline (%)

5

Clearance from the attachment point to the ground

6

Number of axles
