Six principles that apply to every model, whatever trailer, caravan or load you’re moving. See also the model-specific "How to use it" section on your model’s own page.
Always position Robot Trolley as close to the load's center of gravity as possible. An imprecise placement causes uneven weight distribution on the tracks, which can reduce traction and increase the risk of the load tipping while driving.
Robot Trolley is designed to pull, not push. Always use straight, controlled pulling force, and avoid sharp sideways movements, which put unnecessary strain on the tracks and increase the risk of losing grip.
Turn in small, controlled steps rather than sharp on-the-spot turns, especially with a heavy load or on soft ground. Keep a steady, low speed throughout the turn.
The vertical pressure from the trailer or equipment has a big impact on traction: too little reduces grip, too much can overload the model. Choose the tower and mount so the pressure stays within the model's specifications.
Traction varies with the type of surface: asphalt and concrete give the most grip, while loose gravel, grass or sand require more caution and possibly an adjustable mount for better contact.
Keep a safe distance from Robot Trolley while it's driving, and use the emergency stop if anything seems wrong. Check that the trailer or equipment is properly secured before starting, and never let children operate the remote control.
